Do you remember what the Mayflower ship is? What about the Native American? Who were the pilgrims?

All these cultural facts were explained by our friendly and hardworking Language Assistant Andie to our school students. As a matter of fact, she elaborated a PowerPoint presentation to answer all our doubts about Thanksgiving. THANKS A LOT, ANDIE!. Let's have a look at it!:

¿Te acuerdas del barco llamado "Flor de Mayo? ¿Quiénes son los Americanos nativos? ¿Quiénes eran los peregrinos? Todos estos aspectos culturales fueron explicados por nuestra amigable y trabajadora Auxiliar Lingüística Andie a los alumnos de nuestro colegio. Para ello, elaboró una presentación PowerPoint para dar respuesta a todas nuestras preguntas sobre el día de Acción de Gracias. MUCHAS GRACIAS, ANDIE. ¡Echémosle un vistazo!:

También cantamos una canción típica llamada "My pavo de Alburquerque". ¡Disfrutala!

Moreover, our students carried out some projects in their classrooms:

 5th Year students elaborated this colourful and creative display showing Thanksgiving's main characters and facts: Pilgrims, Native Americans, Dinner and turkeys. Excellent job, girsl and boys!:

Además, nuestros alumnos realizaron algunos proyectos en las aulas:

Los alumnos de 5º E.P elaboraron el siguiente poster tan creativo y colorido mostrando los principales personajes y elementos del "Día de Acción de Gracias": los peregrinos, los nativos americanos, la cena y el pavo. ¡Excelente trabajo, chicas y chicos!

6th Year students elaborated their 'Thanksgiving Tree' with 'Thankfulness Leaves'. They displayed their gratitude for their families, teachers, pet, food, etc...

Los alumnos de 6º E.P elaboraron su "Árboles de Acción de Gracias" con "Las hojas de la gratitud". En ellas expresaron su gratitud por sus familias, profesores, mascotas, comida, etc.
