HAPPY BOOK DAY IN FONTARRON SCHOOL!! ¡FELIZ DÍA DEL LIBRO EN EL COLEGIO FONTARRON!

All the school was involved in Book Day, which in fact was 'The Book Week' since it took place from the 21st- 25th April. There was storytelling, poem writing and reading, workshops, surprise performances   and finally, two wonderful theatre plays based on two stories written by  two 5th Grade students. Our students also elaborated productions in English.

Todo el colegio estuvo involucrado en el Día del Libro, que en realidad fue " La Semana del Libro" ya que tuvo lugar del 21 al 27 de abril. Hubo cuenta cuentos, escritura y lectura de poemas, diversos talleres, actuaciones sorpresa y como broche final, dos maravillosas obras de teatro escritas por dos alumnos de 5º E.P. Nuestros alumnos tambien elaboraron trabajos escritos y orales en inglés:

•  First, 5th Grade students learnt an English rhyme and recited it by heart. It was called 'When the English Tongue We Speak'. Brilliant job!!!

• En primer lugar, los alumnos de 5º E.P aprendieron una rima en inglés y la recitaron de memoria para todo el colegio. La rima se llamaba "Cuando hablamos la lengua inglesa".¡ Estupendo trabajo y esfuerzo, chic@s!

• Secondly, 5th Year students also produced and compiled two classroom newspapers. Let's have a look at them!!  Congratulations, reporters!!!!:

• En segundo lugar, los alumnos de 5º E.P también produjeron y recopilaron dos periódicos de clase. ¡Echemos un vistazo! ¡Enhorabuena, reporteros! :

They invented their own front pages.
Los alumnos crearon sus propios artículos y titulares.
